A Town Called Deception Draft Copy

Well here we are after a rollercoaster of a year here it is all our efforts put into 2 minutes of film all on a MP4 File. Man it felt so good to have this completed.

Blood Being Spilled

Our film was nearly complete we just had to redo one last bit so we went straight to Dickos to film but then of all moments after sorting the scene I was unable to work due to a severe nosebleed which meant Sam had to virtually set and compose the scene all by herself. It was tough to watch knowing I was unable to help :(

Unexpected Allies and Rework

So let me set the scene were 2 weeks away from deadline with no film. We was ready to throw in the towel when the greatest stroke of luck occurred. Danny and Dicko who had finished work on Motive agreed to help us with our film. So we all sat down and devised a script for us to use. After this we went straight to Dickos to film the scene we got finished at 2.35 so that gave us time to import it and be back home and ready for football later on in the afternoon.

Now instead of our film being a 2 minute for the opening of a movie trailer which is about a two mobsters who hunt down a contact because her loan from the mobsters boss is late again. The mobsters catch their target with quick haste and take her to an abandoned wood to be "Rubbed Out" They are trying to reach their boss but are unable to get in contact with him. The mobsters and the woman stand in the wood when one of the mobsters pulls a gun out and shoots the woman in the head. After the deed is done they call their boss to tell him this is where the mobsters are deceved and become wanted men.

It was now a 2 minute for the opening of a movie trailer which is about hows peoples lives has been affected by all the lies and deceit from their MP and their local surroundings. This put the "Broken Britian" into context and shows some issues people from a deprived area face on a daily basis.

Disaster After Christmas

Just when I thought things could not get any worse guess what....They did Becky decided to leave college which meant what we had filmed was no use to us at all(Severe badtimes) Guess were back at square one again. Its annoying when you get so close to completion but something knocks you back :(

Filming Date Drawing Closer And Arrived

The wait for the film is coming to an end with Me Sam and Becky working hard with all the script storyboard screenplay and character list we hope the filming will be started sometime in January. All we need now is a fluent filming day. The day arrived but Sam who was unfortunately absent so filming was postponed till she recovered. Monday (Filming Day) We was set we had everything we needed had a location wish the weather could have been better but Ah Well. On a whole filming went quite well we had a few embarrassing out takes one involved Sam falling over on the mud we went from the group who started with nothing to almost being completed :)

I picked media at Smiths Wood Sports College because the idea of making films appealed to me.
